R-Mar Resort And Spa - Sha Plus, Phuket

My stay at the hotel started off with promise, but unfortunately, it was marred by constant construction noise and some unsatisfactory experiences. While the cooking class offered by the food and beverage manager was a delightful highlight, the overall atmosphere was impacted by ongoing renovations that were much more extensive than advertised. Additionally, the breakfast was lackluster and resulted in me getting sick, which was quite disappointing. It's a mixed bag, with some good moments but overshadowed by several issues.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The highlight was definitely the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and I appreciated the peaceful location that’s so close to the bustling Bangla Road yet far enough to unwind. However, the breakfast options were limited and the noise from nearby bars made it hard to sleep. Overall, it was decent but not without its downsides.

The hotel boasts a lovely spacious pool and a great spot just a short walk away from the beach and numerous dining options. While the gym and kids' play area are clean and new, the breakfast lacks variety and the staff seems confused about the happy hour deals. On the downside, there is substantial construction work happening, which is quite disruptive.

My recent stay at the resort was quite a mix of experiences. While the pool was nice and the room was clean, the service was disappointing, especially upon arrival. I faced some serious issues during my stay that overshadowed the positives, including rude staff and a frustrating check-out process. The breakfast options were also limited and felt underwhelming, which was disappointing for a resort.

I had a wonderful stay at the resort, with lovely amenities and friendly service. The location is convenient, close to shopping and nightlife. However, the room could use more lighting, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best. The pool is fantastic, but it closes early, which was a bit disappointing.
